Abstract
Labour has a majority that allows them significant leeway to pursue their own climate policy agenda. Nevertheless, the foundations of the government are fragile, with electoral pressures pulling them in different directions. Labour needs to devise a progressive populist approach to climate policy align climate action with these electoral challenges
