Abstract

In our earlier experiments the nutrient release rate from test rigs was found to be low except for a pulse just after fertliliser application. It is now believed that this was an experimental artefact caused by applying the slow release pellet in small baskets at the surface of the test rigs, to allow the fertilizer type to be periodically changed.
