Abstract

A shell of iron atoms and tetradentate amino ligands surrounds the close‐packed cluster core [Fe73‐OH)62‐OH)4{(μ3‐O)Fe}2]13+ common to 1 and 2. These types of compounds could help in understanding naturally occurring hydroxo‐(oxo)iron clusters. (Figure Presented.)
