Abstract
Anyone who still thinks that corruption takes place between the frontiers of the public and private space and between a 'private' actor who is assumed to be clean or a victim, and a 'public' official who is assumed to be inevitably pressing for a kickback, is a deluded liberal. Where are these individualized and sacrosanct frontiers in the power structure of South African society and polity?
