Abstract

This document defines a methodology for the selection of primary substations (33kV/11kV and 33kV/6.6kV) to be part of the trial in the Tier 2 CLASS project. Two main schemes are considered: peak reduction and reactive power absorption. Three main criteria are identified: 2015/16 forecast peak load, peak load share per profile class, and presence of distributed generation.
