Abstract
Time domain modeling is used investigate a laser system based on a Fabry-Pérot cavity modified with a weak longitudinal computer-generated hologram. The combined cavity and hologram feedback mechanisms lead to highly selective single mode emission which may be discretely tuned with gain position and an additional phase shift. © 2012 IEEE.
