Abstract
In this article we publish two Greek inscriptions, possibly or probably from ancient
Megara, which are now in the collection of the Earl of Yarborough at Brocklesby Park, Lincolnshire, uk. The inscriptions have not been subject to scholarly examination for more than a century. We offer an account of their discovery and editions of both: one is a funerary stele of the late Classical period with a relief sometimes thought to be Attic; the other is a statue of a priestess with inscribed base of the late Roman period.
