Abstract
The UFRJ's extension course Gender and Diversity in School (GDE) was conducted in 2014 with 50 education
professionals in Itaboraí / RJ. For four months, we discuss teaching practices and interventions in schools about
gender, sexuality, human rights, violence and differences. The proposed curriculum was based on production of
Queer Studies and Difference Pedagogy. We worked to build in a space of collective analysis, sharing worries
and experiment changes
