Abstract
On the frontiers between multiple pieces of knowledge – from scientific/technical to cultures/mythologies – images, imaginaries and imagination each have essential roles to play, for a scope of knowledge which is deeper and wider. Here we introduce a fourth dynamic: ‘imagineering’. Just as ‘engineering’ is about the process and skills for creating physical constructions, imagineering is about the process and skills and resources for
enabling ‘imaginaries and imaginations’.
