Abstract

Endodontics (derived from the Greek words endo - “inside” and odont - “tooth”) is the speciality of dentistry that focuses on the dental pulp tissues. The dental pulp can be diseased due to dental caries, trauma, or ascending infections from the periodontal tissues.
