Abstract
Just over a year ago, the 10 Key Issues in Children’s Learning in Primary Science in England was launched. This report focuses specifically on the learning experiences of the child in science classrooms. This deliberate shift in focus from teacher to pupil allows us to draw attention to the impact of teaching approaches, and to consider the impact of our choices on how the children engage and progress in learning.
