Written Evidence to the Justice Committee, House of Commons: Prison Reform, Governor Empowerment and Performance

    Research output: Other contribution

    Abstract

The evidence in our submission draws on the research findings of an un-published thesis on the performance measurement of private prisons, for which, Dr Dania Issa was admitted to the degree of Doctor in Philosophy at The University of Manchester in December 2016. The focus of our evidence is aligned with the committee’s interests on ‘performance agreements, including performance measures and league tables’.
