Student thesis: Master of Philosophy

Abstract

This paper is a reflective piece done to fulfil the requirements for the Master’s of Philosophy in Psychology of Counselling. The paper consists of two parts. Part one looks to provide background, context and rationale for four of the research papers I have completed for the programme. Part two offers an in-depth look at said papers with a focus on theory, practice, research and personal development. Upon reflection, two themes became most prevalent throughout my work. The main theme was that of Social Justice. Secondly was sport and where it has a place in therapy. The papers and feedback are included as a reference point for my reflections.
