Important information about clusters, such as mass can be calculated by using observationaldata without many complicated calculations and with only SZ or X-raydata. The Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect causes a change in the apparent brightness ofthe Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation. It can provide information aboutgalaxy clusters and the information can be used as a cosmological probe. In thisreport the scaling relations of the SZ and X-ray signal of galaxy clusters from simulationsare investigated. Future galaxy cluster surveys will provide ways to measurethe growth of structure with redshift but currently there are few large scale surveys.Simulations and scaling relations can be used to test models of cosmology and themethods that will be used when large scale data will be available.
